If I have to suffer my random thoughts, so should my loved ones!
What is so special about what I have to say, you ask?
Well, nothing in particular I guess, except that I do believe that we all, at times at least, have something of value to add! Maybe I have some experiences that you have not. Maybe I think crazy nutty things that you don't (I am almost positive of that one!). Either way, like it or not, here I am! I mean if Rush Limbaugh can spout off at the mouth and people listen to him, there should be someone who will enjoy what I have to say!
Another plus, I can spell! So unless I am particularly vision-tired, those of you who get crazed over stupid spelling mistakes and such should feel safe here. Although, I DO tend towards run-on sentences. Sorry. I said I was a good speller, not a grammar expert!

- I am a 30 something year old American Sign Language Interpreter. I have just rejoined this amazing field of work after a 4 year, unintended sabbatical. While I took part in extensive education for my career, due to my 'break' I am as fresh as newborn doe, and often feeling as awkward. I am also recently married and surviving (so far) the newly acquired pitfalls that occur when you are lifelong committed to another human being. Thanks! Too bad it needs lots of funding, and I am not so good at going out and selling myself...ok that doesn't sound right, but you know what I mean. If only I could get some serious networking done...I will keep my eyes and ears open though. Ya never know when things can come along even if you don't expect them.
Walter and I just had the conversation about "If you are going to win the Lottery, you have to buy a ticket. Pain in the ass that you have to do that to win, isn't it?"
The analogy holds on everything. In order to progress, you have to participate. Bummer, huh?
Yeah, too much so. AND I forgot to buy a ticket tonight! Damnit. Well, I am going to start putting my idea on this on paper, and maybe even seeing about putting together a proposal for one day. Who knows. Maybe I can save the world! :P
